To get there, we'll cross Cascante and, bypassing the NA-121, take the Camino de Pedriz (if traveling by bike) or the regional NA-3020 if traveling by car. It's a pond used for irrigation where it's always possible to see numerous waterfowl, including the common coot, the wigeon, and the cormorant.
The greatest interest of Laguna de Lor lies in the birds that can be observed there during the autumn and winter. For birds passing through, the pond serves as a resting point along their route, while for others, it serves as their winter quarters.
There is a 3-km walk along an elevated track that circles Laguna de Lor and runs through a landscape with some of the oldest olive trees in Navarre.
