At today's Local Government Board meeting, the Tudela City Council agreed to initiate the procurement process for asphalt paving works in various industrial estates throughout the city during 2025. The maximum tender budget is €386,742.02, including VAT.
The planned work will take place on Canal Imperial de Aragón Street in the La Barrena industrial estate; partially on the Asturias and Madrid roads in the Las Labradas industrial estate; and final repairs will be carried out on Road C of the Municipal Industrial Estate.
The work includes milling the existing pavement and replacing it with a layer of asphalt, providing signage and detours required during the project, sealing cracks, adjusting service covers to the required level, and fully repainting the repaved areas.
The main estimated measurements include 15,587 m2 of milling, 1,417 m2 of soft rock repair, and 14,170 m2 of asphalt reinforcement. In addition, 3,000 linear meters of roadway joints will be sealed.
The completion period for the works will be 30 calendar days following the signing of the staking out certificate.
These projects have been submitted to the Government of Navarre's call for grants for the improvement of industrial estates for the 2025 financial year.
"With this investment of more than €300,000 in the asphalting of our industrial estates, the Tudela City Council continues its commitment to improving the infrastructure that supports our economic activity. This is a necessary and committed initiative for the productive fabric of our city," said Zeus Pérez, Councilor for Sustainable Urban Development.
