Descripción corta
In Tudela, the Church of San Nicolás, an emblematic 12th-century building, has been renovated and transformed into a new use.
Descripción larga
This temple, designed by Tudela-born architect José Ignacio Zuazu and executed by the construction company Leache, has been reborn as the Tudela Green Temple, a center dedicated to the research and promotion of vegetables. Among its most significant renovations is the 25 m² vertical garden of preserved plants, designed not only as an ornament, but as the site's presidential element.

This distinctive living garden of the Tudela Green Temple is inspired by the region's nature. Its design evokes the aerial view of the Mejana, the forests of Tudela, and the river, creating an indissoluble link between the history, culture, and nature of the area.

The selection of preserved plants for this garden is perfectly chosen to represent the design: the blues represent the river; the black represents a bridge that crosses the river; the pink represents a type of tree from Tudela; the green represents the Mejana and highlights the landscape; and finally, the moss ball recreates another type of forest. This work is a great example of the versatility of designing with preserved plants.
